At Laurella beauty, I am committed to maintaining client confidentiality at all times, building the trust and confidence of my clients is extremely important to me.
You can rest assured your information will not be sold, rented or traded with any other companies and or businesses for marketing purposes.
In this privacy notice, I have provided detailed information on when, and why your personal information is collected, how I use it, including the limited conditions which I may disclose it to others and how I keep it secured.
For each client attending an appointment on or after 25th May 2018, I will ask you to sign a one-time privacy agreement, which will be stored with your client consultation card & treatment record(s). You may ask to see this agreement again at any time.
Personal information collected at the time you book an appointment/enquire:
At Laurella beauty, the information you provide is processed to be able to contact you in regards to your scheduled appointment. Your telephone number/email address is only used in connection with the service you have requested and confirmation/appointment reminders will be made only relating to this event. Your address will be requested if a patch test is required to be posted out to you.
Ways your information is collected:
The contact me tab on my website; The information you provide gets sent directly to my email and allows me to respond to your enquiry.
My online booking system to enable you to book an appointment.
When you arrive for your appointment, there will be some forms to fill in, these are stored in a locked cabinet, and updated each time you come to see me for a service.
When you contact me on Facebook, I will be able to send you appointment reminders.
Why your information is collected:
Before carrying out a treatment, the Processing of the information you provide is necessary, because I rely on a contractual obligation to be able to provide you with a service. I require your consent to process your health information because without disclosing required health information, a treatment cannot go ahead. The reason I collect this information is to check your suitability to a treatment and to make sure a treatment is safe to carry out, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained at all times.
Sharing your information:
In some cases where a medical referral is needed, I provide you with a letter to take to your GP/health practitioner to obtain their consent. The only other time your information would be shared is when I am contractually required to do so.
You are entitled to view, amend (If you feel your information is factually incorrect, for example, you moved address), or request deletion of pictures used for marketing purposes. You can also unsubscribe to any email newsletters at any time. Email your request to Laura at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Your data will be stored safely for up to 7 years or as long as contractually obliged, after this time your information will be safely shredded and disposed of.
